It should explain, in plain French:

• a FRUP is not a private commercial company;

• it has a recognised public-interest purpose;

• it is governed by statutes;

• it is subject to public/legal oversight;

• its assets and income are dedicated to its mission;

• it cannot be run mainly for private profit extraction.

This page should avoid sounding as though FRUP status is automatic. Use wording like:

Une FRUP est un cadre exigeant. Elle suppose une mission d’intérêt général clairement définie, des statuts solides, une dotation, une gouvernance contrôlée et une reconnaissance formelle par l’État.
