Naturism Trail was imagined in 2020, during the COVID lockdown, while its author was stranded at Costa Natura, a naturist beach community in Spain. Conceived as a journey of physical movement, adventure and discovery, the trail links a series of geomarked waypoints through which visitors explore the history, politics and philosophy of the unclothed human body. It may also be understood as a game: ten waypoints remain open to any person without a fixed political opinion, while seven invite left-wing interpretations and seven invite right-wing interpretations. The twenty-fifth waypoint represents an almost impossible middle ground, reachable only by those willing to agree with seven propositions from the left, seven from the right, and one shared proposition at the centre.
